I recently watched the Twilight saga. This is a popular series of novels by American writer Stephanie Meyer. Each of the books describes the events happening to the main character, a girl named Bella Swan, who fell in love with the vampire Edward, and her best friend turned out to be a werewolf Jacob. All 5 parts became bestsellers and have been translated into 37 languages, including Russian.
The movie is also presented in 5 episodes, which traces the entire storyline of the main characters. The person watching the movie remains tense throughout the movie as the events unfold rapidly. We cannot guess what will happen next, what the hero will do in the next difficult moment.
Beginning with the first movie, Bella is caught in a whirlwind of events that are completely out of character for her. I worried about her a lot, felt sorry for her, sometimes I asked her why do you do it, can"t you see that it"s dangerous for you? The tension builds with each movie as Bella becomes more and more deeply embedded in the lives of vampires. Her life is wrapped up in a chain of problems, anxieties and dangers that she would not experience if she lived a peaceful human life.
When I watched this movie, each episode flew by instantly, so much was interesting and exciting plot. From the beginning of the movie I was always wondering who Bella would choose in the end, Edward or Jacob? Of course, Edward is a vampire, he is beautiful, but he seemed cold and aloof. Jacob seemed lively, fun, carefree, and closer to human. So at first I thought that at the end of the movie Bella would end up with Jacob.
